Explore and learn the beautiful, hand processes and techniques of block printing in an afternoon with Sienne Josselin and Summer Camp!
Designed for beginners and open to those who would like to re-ignite their passion with a traditional style of relief printing. Using “just like butter” easy carving blocks, students will draw upon the use of simple to complex shapes to create their own handmade blocks and unique, original prints. All materials are included and attendees will take home a wood mounted carved block, several small carved blocks, printed mini notebooks, stationery paper and envelopes, and a tea towel.
This fun and inspiring class will be an opportunity to create great patterns and designs with as little as simple shapes to further exploring your own drawings or reference material! Join us as we create one-of-a-kind handmade goods exploring the beautiful medium of block printing!
